Hallmark star Brennan Elliott shared an update following his wife Cami’s cancer surgery, and his fans responded with continued commitments to prayer.

Brennan Elliott wished his fans a happy holiday following his wife’s successful surgery

Brennan’s wife Cami’s cancer surgery took place on December 23 and Christmas Day Brennan shared a happy and grateful post with fans.

Taking to Instagram, he wrote: “#HappyHolidays from our family to yours. Let’s celebrate the important things in life: health, happiness and family. Live, love and laugh on. And to a fantastic 2023! #happynewyear #merrychristmas #happyhannukah 🙏❤️😘 Love you all!”

The news came after he retweeted a post from a fan who was happy to hear the surgery went well. Faith Taylor wrote, “May Cami continue to heal everyday! God Save you and your family!”

Taylor’s tweet was created in response to an update shared by the @Ann91237283 account. Ann has shared details about Cami’s surgeries and cancer over the past year, which Brennan regularly retweets.

Ann shared a photo of Brennan and Cami after Cami’s surgery.

In another post, Ann shared: “We can all go to bed tonight with grateful hearts and sleep well knowing that Cami’s surgery was a success. It really is the best time of the year. Hugs and cheers to the @brennan_elliott family for Christmas 2022.”

Elliott has starred in a new Hallmark Christmas movie and is working on a ‘secret’ deal

Elliott has been busy this year. His new film, The Gift of Peace, just premiered on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries in December. He starred in the film alongside Nikki DeLoach.

He also shared on Instagram that he’s working on closing a secret new deal. He did not share any further details about the project in his post.

Brennan announced in early April that Cami had been diagnosed with stage IV metastatic gastric cancer. They’ve been candid with friends and fans about their health journey. in a (n Interviewed by People in Augusthe shared that his wife is fine, but the journey has been tough.

“Right now there are no signs of illness,” he told People. “That’s our pleasure. We just want to keep that crustacean away from her. It’s a lot of long nights.”

Back in April, Cami shared her story on the Hope for Stomach Cancer website, which reveals how she was first diagnosed and the first steps they took to put her into remission before her cancer returned. She said her first symptom was heartburn in December 2015 when she was 37. But she said the heartburn pain is different because it’s a stabbing pain. Worried about a heart attack, she went to see a cardiologist and a gastroenterologist. It wasn’t until March 2018, when she asked for an endoscopy, that she was diagnosed with cancer.

“Initially, I kept quiet about my stage 4 status because I didn’t want people to see me as an ailing cancer patient.” She wrote about Hope for Stomach Cancer. “But now I feel like I’m on a mission to spread awareness and hopefully be an example of a stage 4 patient doing well.”
