Britney Spears pays big rent for Sam Asghari’s swanky new apartment!
Now we know who will foot the bill Sam Asghari‘s chic new apartment in West El Lay…
It’s his estranged and soon-to-be ex-wife, Britney Spears!!
As we’ve reported, Asghari has settled into a new high-rise called The ten thousand. It’s located on the famous Santa Monica Boulevard in western Los Angeles, right on the border between Century City and a small town you may have heard of called Beverly Hills. The building’s amenities are over the top, and the skyscraper itself offers expansive views in all directions (depending on which direction your apartment faces). And it sounds like Sam’s place is a pretty good deal. Partly because he doesn’t pay for it!

Accordingly TMZThe darling, one more time Singer is the one picking up the rent for the 29-year-old actor’s brand new living space. According to this outlet’s reporting early Thursday morning, Britney actually has to shell out about $10,000 a month just to let Sam live in the building for the time being. Wow!
According to several previous media reports, apartments in this building now cost between $10,000 and over $65,000 per month. But that doesn’t mean Sam just got the basic housing for what he (er, what) provided for British) pays. No, instead it turns out that Asghari was actually able to “negotiate a deal” for a higher-priced apartment at the base price.
Very soft!
It makes sense to us. After all, this apartment building has been getting a lot of attention these past few days with all the rumors about moving in after divorce. We know celebs have been spotted there before – THR previously reported such as Demi Lovato and others have called the building home in the recent past – but the move-in of Asghari has now turned all eyes back to the place.
However, the real question here is Why Brit would raise the money for Sam’s place?! Accordingly TMZAlthough a prenuptial agreement still exists between the estranged couple, Britney’s team “thought it would be wise to provide Sam with financial support amid the ex-couple’s split.” Which is probably a smart move now. But how long?? And then what?!

This news outlet also reports that sources still believe Sam’s lawyer will eventually contest the marriage contract. Whether that works or not remains to be seen, of course. But in Thursday morning’s report, the media organization noted that insiders believe Britney will end up writing a check to Sam for “several hundred thousand dollars.”
For us normal people that is obviously a lot of money! But it burns through few faster if your monthly rent is $10,000! I’m just saying!
