Brittany Cartwright Responds to ‘Cringe’ Vacation Video

Brittany Cartwright got into the holiday spirit with a Grinch-inspired video on Instagram this week, but many fans poked fun at the former Vanderpump Rules star for the clip.

In the video, which was a promotion for Freeform’s 25 Days of Christmas film series, Cartwright dressed as the Grinch enacted some scenes from Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch. She captioned the video: “I’m sure you can tell what my favorite Christmas movie is! Make sure you see Dr. Tune in to Seuss’ The Grinch tomorrow, December 3 at 7:15 p.m. and watch @25Days of Christmas December 1-25 at @Freeform #25DaysofChristmas #sponsored.”

The video came a few days after Cartwright’s husband Jax Taylor posted another video featuring their version of the Christmas classic Home Alone. This video received mixed reactions, including many positive comments from fans who said their son Cruz, who stars as Kevin McCallister in the clip, looked very “cute” and “adorable”.

Many fans mocked Brittany Cartwright for her “cringe” portrayal of the Grinch in her Instagram comments and on Reddit

Cartwright’s video was ridiculed by many fans both in and out of their Instagram comments Reddit. Someone commented on her post, “The cringe level is so high,” and many others agreed that the video was extremely “cringey.”

A few other people begged, “Make it stop,” while someone else asked, “Wtf, was I just watching.” Next Reddit, someone pointed out, “I must have missed the scene in the movie where the Grinch is twerking.” Others called it “Really bad”.

Despite the criticism of that clip, Cartwright’s latest vacation photo with Taylor sparked a spate of compliments for the former VPR star as she flaunted her figure. The photo, released Nov. 29, showed Cartwright in the same red leather mini skirt and white sweater as in the Grinch video, while Taylor wore a Santa hat.

Fans congratulated Cartwright on her weight loss, as the former VPR star previously shared that she’s lost over 40 pounds as an ambassador for Jenny Craig.

There were also plenty of comments from fans who were surprised to see the couple together after rumors circulated that they had split. The Sun reported in November 2022 that fans had wondered about Taylor and Cartwright’s marriage because the couple hadn’t posted any photos together in recent months.

Some fans had also pointed out that Cartwright traveled to Kentucky without Taylor. The former SUR bartender stayed behind in Los Angeles and revealed on Instagram Live that he said he “needed” the break from his family. The sun.

Many of the top comments on Cartwright’s Instagram post came from fans who were surprised the couple hadn’t divorced, and while the mother-of-one didn’t address those speculations, the couple’s vacation photo spoke for itself.
