Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay and her husband Brock Davies tied the knot in August 2022. The couple have one daughter together named Summer Moon Honey Davies who was born in April 2021. The reality TV personalities opened up about their relationship during a December 2022 episode of Shay’s “Scheananigans with Scheana Shay” Podcast. Davies revealed he doesn’t find his wife’s complaints particularly helpful.

“The nagging, it’s huge. It’s really because sometimes we wake up with it. And I know you can change whenever you want, but one day I wake up and I’m like, okay, let’s get this going,” said the former professional rugby player. “And my first obstacle is my wife nagging me? I’m like here we go – that’s brilliant, that’s great… It’s always earned but it should be communicated before going to that next level.”

He clarified that he would appreciate it if Shay had constructive criticism. The “Good as Gold” singer also noted that she would be less critical of her husband.

“The nagging — like it disgusts me, but it’s coming out of my mouth and I’m like, ‘Why the hell did you say that?’ … I bite my tongue a lot more and choose my battles, but I know that’s just an ick on both sides,” said the reality TV personality.

During the taping of the episode “Scheananigans with Scheana Shay,” Davies shared that he tried to improve when he started dating Shay in 2019. He described himself as a selfish partygoer who “didn’t care about other people.” But the corona pandemic changed his perspective.

“Eventually the pandemic spread and I started to worry about other people. And then I got into a really great relationship and we have a kid. And now I enjoy being a father. And my friends think [Shay] I’ve changed, but I’ve changed myself because I want to be that version of myself,” Davies said.

In a joint Interviewed in October 2022 on The Coupleish podcast.Davies shared he believes the pandemic has improved his relationship with Shay.

“Self-interested, that was the best thing for us,” said the father of three.

He explained Shay was pregnant with Summer at the start of the coronavirus pandemic.

“We had a pandemic kid and it gave us the time to really understand what the world meant, what mattered to you in every relationship where you had those conversations and obviously the pandemic was still going on but people either came together or grew apart and for me it took away all my triggers and my reasons for being an A*****. And then I thought I should stop being an asshole, right. Let me work on that,” Davies shared.

During the Coupleish podcast, Shay shared that she was hesitant to introduce Davies in Vanderpump Rules for the show’s ninth season. She explained the show had previously featured some of her failed relationships.

“I had learned my lessons from starting the show, I had a boyfriend who became my fiancé and then husband and then ex-husband, all on the show. And then I had another guy who was my friend on the show and then that didn’t work out and then my best friend became my friend on the show and then that didn’t work out. So when I got to Brock, I thought I didn’t know how that was going to be perceived – ‘Oh, another guy from Scheana,'” Shay said.
