Brooks Koepka danced. Darian also danced. Justin Bieber is catchy infant played.

They also sang.

“Baby, baby, baby oh.”

They hugged each other.

Really?

Koepka? The seemingly merciless conqueror of the majors? Who once boasted that golf’s biggest tournaments were the easiest to win because almost everyone would waste away next to them? Koepka? Who got involved in beefsteak with Brandel Chamblee? And Bryson DeChambeau? This Koepka?

Of course, we have already seen and heard some hints. Like before the Masters, from his wife Jena Sims. She spoke with GOLF’s Claire Rogers, who noted Koepka’s appearance on the Netflix show Full of momentum showed him a more vulnerable side.

“He’s really a vulnerable person,” Sims told Rogers.

“He is emotionally intelligent. I think the world sees him as this tough guy with a chip on his shoulder, and Netflix really opened his heart.”

Then there was a moment at the Masters itself. Koepka had just finished second to winner Jon Rahm. He had shot a disappointing three-over 75 in his final round at Augusta National. But as he left 18, he spotted a boy on the ropes and tossed him his ball. This happens hundreds of times in tournaments. But at this moment?

“Yeah, even during the difficulties,” the boy’s father said, “you just remember that the kids are the future of the game and try to get them excited about the game early.”

Then there was Friday evening.

Brooks Koepka offered a lot on Jake Paul's podcast.

Sims co-chaired the Best Buddies Palm Beach Champion of the Year gala. She did that last year too. The event honors fundraisers for Best Buddies, and Best Buddies is awesome. According to its website, the group “creates opportunities for personal friendships, integrated employment, leadership development and inclusive living for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.”

On the way, Koepka met Darian.

And yes, they took a photo together on Friday.

And they danced.

And they sang.

And they hugged each other.

Have a look. Okay, wait. We will describe it below.

The video comes from Koepka’s Instagram Stories and was one of four Stories he posted from the event. In the first, Koepka and Sims stand with Darian. In the second, Koepka hugs Darian, whom he calls “my guy.” In the third, Koepka and Darian hug. In the fourth and final shot, Bieber plays.

All this from Koepka?

Really.
