Bulls Ayo Dosunmu is looking chiseled in training pictures

Which training regiment did Ayo Dosunmu join this season?

It’s not obvious, but whatever he’s been doing is attracting plenty of praise, and the sophomore guard looks chiseled in a recent image posted by 3T Workouts on Instagram.

Dosunmu will have an unexpected first year with the Chicago Bulls. After being drafted in the second round in 2021, Dosunmu was forced into extended duty following the injuries of Coby White, Lonzo Ball and Alex Caruso.

During his rookie season, Dosunmu averaged 8.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 3.3 assists while shooting 37.6% from the 3-point range. His performance earned him a spot on the NBA’s almighty Second Team.

Dosunmu had “a monster crime”

Dosunmu isn’t leaning on his laurels or approaching the season soccer team as if he’s content with his first taste of professional success. By many accounts, Dosunmu had a great season. NBC Sports’ KC Johnson said he’s been told Dosunmu has had a “monster” summer; Chicago Sports reports Daniel Greenberg got the quote.

The organization definitely signed up with Dosunmu during the season. They’ll get a stronger indication of his whereabouts when training camp begins in a few weeks.

The Bulls leadership failed to make many snappy moves during the season. Instead, Arturas Karnisovas preached “continuity” to the squad as one of the positives going into the 2022-23 season. Perhaps the much-anticipated improvements of third-year Dosunmu and Patrick Williams are part of that concept.

Will the Bulls’ new bloodline be enough for them to build on last year?

From a new blood point of view, the Bulls drafted Arizona defender Dalen Terry as potential insurance should they part ways with White. There is also the addition of veteran striker Andre Drummond and point guard Goran Dragic into the mix for depth, and there could be at least one more veteran addition to the forward line.

If Dragic’s performance with the Slovenian National Team is any indication, he still has something in the tank.

Add to that what the Bulls Nation hopes will be a healthier season for Ball, Caruso and Zach LaVine, something close to the spectacular year they got from DeMar DeRozan last season and hope for an explosive year. back from Nikola Vucevic, and Chicago may factor in the Eastern Conference.

The trouble with this formula is the number of moving parts in the equation. There are many variables. Honestly, based on what we’ve seen from Dosunmu as a player and what we’re hearing and seeing from his work this summer, his development has been the thing. least to worry about. There is every reason to believe that he will continue to grow and make an even greater impact.

Ball’s health and potential frontline depth issues are the biggest concern. Chicago will have to find a legitimate option to support Williams in a position of power. However, this image of Dosunmu and the belief that he has had a stellar summer remains exciting for Bulls fans looking forward to the 2022-23 season.
