Café full of activity, what makes it so successful?
The venue, which opened in May 2022, was met with skepticism when another coffee spot joined St Helens’ high street.
After a little over half a year, however, they’ve set themselves apart from the rest, and we caught up with store manager Victoria Collier to find out why she thinks so.
Victoria told the star: “People have questioned opening another cafe, but being a fully accessible place we’ve found we have a loyal clientele and we care about them.
“We have regular customers who come and we know them by name, get their ‘usual’ drink and that makes them feel special and that’s important to us.
“Besides the regulars, we have many college and university students who love our milkshakes and brownies. We have found that our accessible layout makes it very popular with parents with strollers and those with mobility issues which is very nice as we find a home for people.
“I have to say, besides the customers, our employees make the biggest difference and are the key to success. We were the eighth store to open in the North West and more have opened since then.
“With the renewal plans in place at the moment the footfall is lower but we’re not worried, you can’t get a seat here before 2.30pm most days and on Saturday it’s all day.
“As the plans move forward, things will get even busier and it’s very exciting.”
