Callaway adds Full Toe Shape and grinds Jaws Raw Wedge Line

Callaway’s popular Jaws Raw has evolved from an add-on offering to a full-fledged wedge line since its debut on the PGA Tour last year.
Featuring the same unplated finish as the new Jaws Raw Full toe version Features a refined toe cap with grooves that span the entire face for added spin control on toe-hitting flop shots. The higher toe also raises the center of gravity (CG) and creates a lower, more controlled trajectory on full and half shots.
While the toe shaping and groove package is new on the Jaws Raw Full Toe, the overall groove design remains the same. An aggressive 37-degree Jaws groove angle works in unison with angled, micro-positive grooves between the main groove, called “Offset Groove-in-Groove Technology,” to enhance spin on partial shots around the green , even if the face is open for a flop shot.

Callaway has also added weight ports on the back of the head in the past to dial in the center of gravity, but this is the first time they’ve packed tungsten in the sand and lob wedge ports. The tungsten is still designed to center the CG for better control and feel. Our gear team also found the tungsten slugs to be the “special sauce” during initial testing.
The Full Toe is available in a myriad of different grind options, including a new J-Grind designed to improve shot versatility, especially on flop shots and from the bunker. The forward leading edge prevents the head from digging into the turf on medium and full wedge shots. It’s a subtle addition that should help golfers who struggle with consistency of impact.

Jaws Raw Full Toe will also feature several of Callaway’s latest wedge grinds, including C-Grind, X-Grind (now expanded to 54 and 56 degrees), and Z-Grind (up to 62 degrees).

And for left-handers who regularly wonder why they don’t get the same options as their right-handed counterpart, Callaway announced that left-handed Jaw Raw will be available in the 52-60 degree Black Plasma finish in the S-Grind, as well as the Z-Grind, W-Grind and X-Grind at 60 degrees.
Callaway’s Jaws Raw Wedge Line Extension is priced at $179.99 per wedge and will be available at retail on April 7th.
