Can you play Deep Rock Galactic offline?

Deep Rock Galactic is an intense multiplayer mining game in which you are tasked with dropping into a cave and yielding priceless ores while fending off hordes of hideous enemies. The game features modifications to make each mission more difficult, which means you need to work closely with the teammates you bring into battle. However, you won’t always be able to play with others, and the game doesn’t make it clear if you can play offline. Solo or nothing

When your device is not connected to the Internet, you cannot join the game with other players. If you try to organize a show, no one will be able to join you because you are offline. However, you can play any mission in solo mode you want. Solo is more isolated than playing with others, but you will have a useful drone to shoot bugs when the swarm approaches. The main difference in this mode is that the missions will take over an hour instead of fifteen minutes or so.

This is the only way to play Deep Rock Galactic offline and it still lets you raise your character and class. This is useful because you can make meaningful progress in the game regardless of your internet connection or not wanting to socialize with others.
