Cannibal who tricked husband into killing waitress is said to have eaten 30 people

While the remains belong to waitress Elena Vashrusheva, police also found a jar inlaid with remains and 19 slices of skin.

Annibalism has been around for a while and many have tried to figure out what drives humans to eat human flesh. But regardless of the reason, this unusual appetite can have dire consequences, as we’ve seen throughout history.

Natalia Baksheeva, 43, is said to have eaten about 30 people and urged her husband to murder a waitress. Police found steamed and frozen human remains in the couple’s kitchen, and Natalia faces 15 years in prison if convicted.

While the remains belong to waitress Elena Vashrusheva, police also found a jar inlaid with remains and 19 slices of skin. Natalia instigated her husband to murder the woman she believed was flirting with him.

The investigation also found that after her husband stabbed Elena, Natalia dismembered her body and took selfies with severed parts. She has reportedly confessed to consuming 30 victims over the past 30 years.

Most of these victims were women whom the couple had lured through online dating sites. It is still not known if an image showing a severed head being served for dinner and garnished with oranges in 1999 has been examined.
