They say everything is bigger in Texas. But for The Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray, everything is easier in Texas.

The 24-year-old midfielder has remained undefeated at the AT&T Stadium throughout his football career – with Murray’s all-time 9-0 scoreline in Arlington, Texas. In all, Murray hit more than 300 yards with two touches and a pass of 105 in the game against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 17.

Arizona goes into the game with the Cowboys losing their last three games. But the Cardinals are still alive in the NFC West race, needing a win and loss for the Rams to win the division in Week 18.

Murray grew up and played football in Allen, Texas, a 45-minute drive from Arlington. High School Phenom won five high school games at AT&T Stadium, two college games, and a 38-12 victory over the Cowboys in 2020.

Winning in Texas was special for Murray.

“Back home, I feel like myself, I can’t lose my job back home” Murray said after the game. “It is mentality. That’s just my feeling. Again, though, it’s not just about psychology. It’s about showing up and executing. I think the boys feel great when they’re back here, too. I do not know what it is. What a great stadium, the fans, I don’t know what it is. You know coming back to Cowboys Stadium, it’s a big game, because that’s the feeling around here. I’m glad the boys supported me today.”

Murray wasted no time in showing his dominance against AT&T Stadium and Jerry World.

It was a great game of recovery for Murray, who passed the 100-person review for the first time since Week 13. Murray played well despite missing DJ Humphries’ left shot, running against James Conner and wide receiver Rondale Moore when fouled.

There is another area that is performing well despite the lack of key members.

Don’t ignore defensive efforts

The Cardinals defense entered Week 17 without full-back Markus Golden, defensive midfielder Jordan Phillips and full-back Marco Wilson. Throughout the week, the team searched corners and even managed to sign free agent Bashaud Breeland, who was subsequently placed on the Reserve/COVID list.

Arizona has not wavered from arguably the best offense in football, limiting the Cowboys team to 301 yards. The Cowboys struggled mainly in ground attack, as they rammed 45 yards into 17 carries between Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard.

The safety of Pro Bowl Budda Baker alludes to their game plan for their success in stopping quarterback Dak Prescott.

“We knew we had to disguise ourselves,” Baker said. “Dak Prescott is a really good QB. We know that if we show a static coverage, he will offend us. So we disguised a lot, everyone focused on doing their job, one player, one player at a time, just doing your job. Everything else will take care of itself. “

The Cardinals also won the revenue battle. A key point in the game was Isaiah Simmons punching the ball out of Prescott’s arm in a scramble in which the Cardinals recovered.

Simmons ended the day with a slick run as well as 10 tackles.

“It was a great team win,” said Simmons. “Everybody played a good role. Free soccer is a recipe to win. “ Cardinals ‘Kyler Murray Subtly mocks cowboys with Viral Tweet
