Carrie Ann Inaba is saying goodbye to her ‘dear friend’ Len Goodman after he announced his decision to retire after season 31 of ‘Dancing With the Stars.’
Goodman has been an integral part of the show since its inception in 2005. Over the course of his time on the show, he only resigned for two seasons.
“It was a great pleasure to be part of such a wonderful show. But I’ve decided that I want to spend more time with my grandchildren and family in the UK. I can’t thank you enough, my Dancing With The Stars family, it’s been such a wonderful experience for me,” he said on the November 14, 2022 episode.
Goodman is a fairly critical judge who is honest and direct with his feedback. Although he can be difficult to impress, he is well respected for his takes.
Several people in the ballroom were stunned by the news and tears shed. Inaba has developed a close friendship with Goodman and takes his departure very hard.
