Catherine Tyldesley admits ‘truth bombs’ alongside picture perfect holiday snaps with baby Iris

And on Thursday, Catherine Tyldesley, 39, stunned in deep blue swimwear as she fell in love with daughter Iris, 8 months, during her little girl’s first family holiday.

Taking to Instagram, the former Coronation Street star, who also shares son Alfie, seven, with her husband, 35, posted multiple snaps and videos taken during their getaway.

In one sweet clip, Iris was seen climbing between her mum’s legs while Catherine pulled up her skirt for the baby in a peek-a-boo style.

She also included a heartwarming photo of her son Alfie leaning forward while his little sister reached out to touch his face while sitting in their stroller.

Catherine captioned her uploads: “First real holiday with the four of us – so far so good!!!

“Truth bomb: Nobody sleeps, I haven’t washed my hair since 1942, Iris eats sand all the time, and I drink way too much coffee and eat too many baked goods, but by God, I feel lucky to have these memories.” So happy.

“They aren’t kids long – I intend to make it as magical as possible. Laughter comes first.”

Over on her Instagram Stories, Catherine uploaded a short clip of her little tot trying to paddle through water while her dad helps her.

The soap star also shared a photo of herself with her two excited-looking children, which she captioned “default breakfast behavior.”

Back in April, Catherine announced the birth of her daughter with her husband of five years, Tom, after first announcing she was expecting her second child in October 2021.

Sharing the happy news of her daughter’s birth in April with her fans, Catherine wrote on Instagram: “We are very pleased to announce that our beautiful daughter has arrived.

“We are indescribably grateful and overjoyed that our family is complete.”

Catherine and Tom had a whirlwind romance and after just four months of dating, they found out they were expecting their son Alfie.

Speaking to Notebook magazine, the actress said meeting Tom was “so, so out of the blue.” I’m damn happy. He ticks every box.

Speaking of her surprise pregnancy, she admitted: “It came as a shock to us, but we were both ready. The fact that I wasn’t nervous about telling him proved in my mind that he was the right man for me.
