The cast of ‘Celebrity Big Brother 2’
The second US season of “Celebrity Big Brother” premieres on January 21, 2019. The cast list is as follows:
- Anthony Scaramucci – Former White House communications director
- Dina Lohan – TV personality and mother of Lindsay Lohan
- Joey Lawrence – Actor known for “Blossom” and “Melissa & Joey”
- Jonathan Bennett – Actor known for “Mean Girls”
- Kato Kaelin – Actor, TV personality and witness in the OJ Simpson murder trial
- Kandi Burruss – Producer, singer, and television personality, best known for “True Housewives of Atlanta”
- Lolo Jones – Olympic hurdlers and snowmobilers
- Natalie Eva Marie – Former WWE wrestler
- Ricky Williams – Former NFL runs again
- Ryan Lochte – Olympic Swimmer
- Tamar Braxton – R&B singer and TV personality
- Tom Green – Comedian
For the first Household Competition of the season, the butlers competed in pairs. Jonathan and Ryan won and then faced off against each other to see who would become the first HOH. Ryan won and Julie Chen Moonves announced that Jonathan will automatically become the third day nominate and lose the Householder contest part 2.
Elimination order and how to play
The first week, Ryan chose to nominate Tom and Anthony for deportation. Ricky won the veto and upheld the nominations. Anthony later announced that he was a “fake person” and was leaving the house. Ryan picked Kandi to replace Anthony in the box and a second Veto competition took place. Kato won and got Tom off the block. Ryan chose Joey as his replacement nominee. On the night of the eviction, the three nominees on the block were Jonathan, Kandi and Joey. Jonathan became the first housekeeper to be kicked out of the house.
Week two, Kato becomes the HOH and nominates Dina and Joey out of the house. Tom gained the Power of Veto and used it to get Dina out of the block. Kato chose Ryan as his replacement nominee and Ryan was kicked out of the house. Tom became the next HOH and nominated Kandi and Joey. Natalie won the veto and upheld the nominations. Joey agrees to be kicked out of the house.
In the third week, Tamar became the HOH. She nominated Kato and Tom for expulsion. Lolo won the live veto contest and upheld the nominations, which resulted in Kato being kicked out of the house. The next HOH competition was organized by “Celebrity Big Brother 1” alumnus, Omarosa. Tom won, becoming the new HOH. He nominated Natalie and Ricky for deportation. Tom won the POV, used it to save Ricky, and chose Lolo as his replacement nominee. Natalie was kicked out of the house. Lolo won the next HOH contest and nominated Tom and Kandi to kick him out of the house. Tamar won the POV and kept the nominations. Tom was then kicked out of the house.
Who won ‘Celebrity Big Brother 2?’
The remaining five housekeepers – Dina, Kandi, Ricky, Lolo and Tamar – made it to the finale. Ricky won the first HOH of the finale and was nominated for Dina and Kandi. Lolo won the POV and kept the nominations. Ricky then votes solely to fire Kandi.
Ricky won the last HOH contest of the summer and chose to take Tamar with him in the two finals. The jury unanimously voted Tamar Braxton the winner of “Celebrity Big Brother 2”, making her the first Black winner of the US season of “Big Brother”.
Tom Green won America’s Favorite Soccer Player award.
