Charles Barkley says he showered in his uniform after games

No one wants their dirty laundry to be aired on national television, especially the Turner network of channels during March Madness. But Charles Barkley did just that – only he was the one to rinse, scrub and air dry. The Chuckster revealed that he used to clean his own NBA Uniforms by showering in them after games.

Yeah, I don’t think so either, and neither do Kenny Smith, Greg Gumbel, or Clark Kellogg, by the way.

Oh my god, give Kenny and Charles the Emmy right now. I don’t care if this isn’t one NBA on TNT transfer. They are currently the best comedy. Smith plays the straight man and Barkley tells you about an era that was only for him.

You’ll need a washboard and some muscle to hand-clean any piece of clothing, let alone a uniform. And I hate to tell Chuck, but his shorts probably still gave off an odor strong enough to remove the dye.

There are so many golden opportunities for a patented TNT crew photoshop like this. Charles scrubs his uniform on a washboard (or washboard abs, which definitely didn’t belong to him). The only person who likely thinks what Barkley did was sanitary is Dan Orlovsky, who also aired his own dirty laundry this week. I don’t know what’s groier – Take 30 showers before washing your towel, or wash your sweaty shorts and tops by showering in them. Both are opposites down to showering and hygiene on a grand scale.
