Chelsea Houska accused of ‘copying’ an influencer’s nursery

Chelsea Houska and Cole DeBoer are expected to star in their own series on HGTV.
Before her new time on HGTV, alum “Teenage Mom 2” Chelsea Houska faces charges of “copying” an Instagram influencer.

While some “Teen Mom” fans may be upset about Houska’s imitation of the aesthetic, Amber Marker – Declan + Crew designer who inspired Houska – has defended MTV’s persona before.
“It makes me sad that people are attacking her for this,” Marker wrote at that time. “She tagged me and shared, that’s so sweet about her! She certainly doesn’t have to.”
Houska and DeBoer dreamed of having their own gig
In an interview with Heavy In October 2020, Houska and DeBoer said their dream was to have their own show on HGTV. They realized how much they loved the journey after starting to build their own nest from scratch.
“Oh my God. 100%. That’s our jam right there,” DeBoer said Heavy.
“I feel like we really see that we love the process so much,” Houska added. “We looked around and thought about flipping the house… I just felt like we didn’t feel like we were done after we built this house.”
Fans will have to wait for the show
Although their series has been given the green light by HGTV, fans won’t be able to watch “Farmhouse Fabulous” on the real estate and home improvement network until spring 2023.
The couple’s child – Aubree Skye, 12 years old (whose father is Houska’s ex-boyfriend Adam Lind), Watson Cole, 5 years old; Layne Ettie, 3 years old; and Walker June, 1 – will also be included. There may also be some appearances by Houska’s father, Randy Houska.

The pair promised to show “real” versions of themselves on HGTV, hinting that “Teen Mom” viewers might not know them.
“We have been working very hard on several projects already,” Houska said. “We can’t wait to take you into a new part of our lives, a new chapter, seeing a different side of us.”
