Zach Davis’ past came back to haunt him just before his marriage to Cheyenne Floyd.

“Teen Mom” star Zach Davis’ past caught up with him shortly before his marriage to Cheyenne Floyd.

Davis pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol and with a suspended or revoked driver’s license following an incident in June 2020. Ashley’s reality summary reported. He was sentenced to 120 days in prison and beaten with 60 months probation ET online.

Going forward, Cheyenne wants to make sure Zach’s past stays in his past. The new episode of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter was filmed ahead of their September 29 wedding. Back then, Cheyenne and Zach were worried that he might miss their wedding because he would be incarcerated.

“I’m not going to marry myself,” Cheyenne said in the episode.

She couldn’t change the wedding date because her father had already filed his credit card to record the date.

“When I think about what we’ve been through … We’ve been through hell and back,” Cheyenne said, possibly referring to the shooting they were involved in. “It just sucks, thinking about everything we went through to get here and still having to question it sucks.”

Cheyenne wanted to make sure her future husband had changed

Cheyenne doesn’t want to know her husband is breaking the law again.

“To be honest, I just need a lot of reassurance that it is,” she told her then-fiancé. “What’s over is over. I need to know you won’t go back to old ways or stupid shit to make it happen. That’s not what I need. You know what I mean?”

Zach promised he would do better.

“There’s absolutely no way I’m going to risk my family, that I can be a father, that I can be a husband. You see the transition that I’ve already made,” he said. “You see me trying, I just need the consistent support you are already giving me and I will be fine. Trust me.”

“It is,” he added. “Promise.”

The couple went through with their marriage and wedding as planned. Zach revealed himself on November 1, via The Ashley’s Reality Roundup.

Zach only spent 1 day in prison

Despite serving a four-month jail sentence, Zach only stayed behind bars for a few hours.

He turned himself in at 9:35 a.m. on November 1 and was discharged at 10:16 a.m. on November 2, per The Ashley.

On her Think Loud Crew podcast, Cheyenne said people have made a lot of “assumptions” about her personal life.

She revealed that after his initial arrest in 2020, Zach had already served time in prison and was dealing with the aftermath.

She also explained why Zach’s prison time was so short.

“The fact is, in California, you do 10 percent [of your sentence]. So if he’s sentenced to 120 days, he’s only serving 10 percent of 120 days, which, what, 12 is?” Cheyenne said, according to The Ashley. “So it’s hard for him to come out and say, ‘I’ve been condemned to it, but I’m only going to become it [in jail] for a day.’ Then I feel like people say, ‘You don’t admit your crime’ or ‘You don’t take the time for your crime’.”
