Children of Silentown is a beautifully drawn point-and-click RPG with a clear nod to Tim Burton. Though sweet and often funny, there are eerie melancholy undertones throughout as you take Lucy on an epic journey of discovery. Chapter five is the final part of her story as she sets out to explore the forest and try to find her mother. But it also has some of the trickiest challenges in the game. Where to find the keys in Children of Silentown?
Leave your room and sing Mom’s Song to solve a puzzle (Above) and remove the vines from your father’s bedroom door. Go to his room and use Song of the Forest on the wardrobe then complete the puzzle (under) and find a secret drawer.

Go downstairs and solve another Mom’s Song puzzle (under) to remove the brambles from your mother’s music box. Try the front door, but you’ll find you’re locked in. Go and catch up fire iron out next to the fire and use it on Squinty’s cat flapthe hole to the right of the front door.
Once outside, go and use Song of the Forest on the wall where the hole to the mad old lady’s house used to be. Solve the puzzle (under), then look into the Letter box that appears and take the letter. Open it in your inventory to get a mysterious letter and a key. Read the letter that appears to be from the crazy old lady, then head back inside and use the key on your mother’s music box. you will find it another key inside, and other letters from the old lady. Go upstairs to your father’s room and use the new key in the secret drawer and Read the notebook you can find inside.
While you’re consistently locked in your room, grab these sock from your clothes chest, the Sheet on the bed that ceiling hanging behind the bed that jug on top of the dresser, and the Emergency Cookies in the dresser. Combine the sheet and blanket to make a makeshift ropethen use it on the window.
This is how you get the socket splitters
Once in the forest, go across the bridge and then combine the cookies with the jar to make one Tin of biscuits. Use the jar in the water under the bridge to soften biscuitsthen use the glass on the Firefly on the complex just a few steps to the left too build a lantern for yourself. Keep going left until you get to the waterfall and examine the dead tree next to it to find yours lost doll. Examine the waterfall to see that you cannot go down on foot. Go back where you got the fireflies and Use the dead tree directly behind and to the right of it. Use the bark on the waterfall to go down to the windmill.
There is a wheel hanging on the wall. Every time you spin the wheel On the right, a numbered brick comes out of the wall and releases water to one of the nearby statues in the forest (to the left, go back through the numbers). Spin the wheel until it stops at the number three. Go past the windmill and down (twice) into the next area where you’ll find a statue with the number three (III) on it and water pouring onto some gutters above it. Manipulate the gutters so that the water flows into the bowl of the statue. This raises a pedestal. Take the shard from the pedestal.
How to open the stone door
Go right then down and use the children’s song on the blue plant next to the beehive complete the puzzle (Above) and the plant opens. Now pull the vines so that the top piece of the gutter tilts down and to the right towards the plant. Go back to the windmill. Turn it to number four and go back to the blue plant. Water will hit the gutter, then the blue plant, release of the honey wax in the dead tree next to it. use yours pole to collect something waxthen combine it with yours sock. Stuff that in the broken bowl onto the statue, then use the gutters to make water flow into the bowl. Take those again shard from the pedestal.
At the windmill, let the water flow through channel two. Go down and back down to the area with no statue. Use Song of the Forest here and solve the puzzle (Above) to reveal statue two. Go left to statue one, pick it up sand-covered pool on the ground, and take it back and use it with statue two. Water will fill the bowl and give you yours third shard.
Go back to the windmill and up the steps on the left. Put the three shards in the holes in the wall and then Squeeze the stone plunger, so that you pass the stone door. Follow the path to the left until you come to some purple vines and use Mom’s Song on them. Complete the puzzle (Above), then further to the left. When it gets dark, click on the lower left area of the screen to continue. When you meet the monster take the stone next to you and use it on the monster. Sing the children’s song to the creature on the tree trunk over the chasm to make it sit down. Once over there, sing Mom’s song to make it follow. Then sing the song of the forest on the rock face to get a leg up.

Head right until you are stand under the fruit up into the tree and stand there by the rocks in a position where the creature is facing the fruit. Sing the song of the forest to get on the rock. use yours fire iron to meet the fruitthe one who knocks strange object on the other branch so low that you can reach it. Climb up the rock on the other side and take the object. Go right but in the corner, don’t go back to the windmill and sing Song of the Forest in the corner. Solve the puzzle (Above) to reveal a door containing the strange object (a key) gives you access to. Once inside, have the creature on one of the symbols sit on the floor while standing on the other, which will open the door on the right. Go inside (look at the paintings on the wall for a sticker) and to the end, so die Creature looks at the hole in the ceiling with translucent light. Use Song of the Forest on the creature and climb out of the hole.
This is how you get the last shard
Use the pole on the rotten tree, after which you will arrive again at statue one near the windmill. Pick up the… Up small pool and put it back on the statue. Go to the windmill, put it on statue one, then go back to the statue and let the water flow into the bowl to collect another one shard. Use it in the last slot through the stone door and press the button to fully open the stone door and allow the creature to come through and join you. Let the water flow through channel five at the windmill. Head down and then go right where the water will flow down. Manipulate the gutters with it Water flows into both bowls. Make the creature sit on the ground again on one symbol while you’re standing on the other to make another pedestal rise with it last shard. Take it and go back to the windmill. Put the shard in the Socket next to the bike. This will stop the flow of water to the right of it, allowing you to climb back up.
If you fall into the landslide, crawl to the right until you’re under that oddly shaped purple rock. Once there, sing Mama’s song to call the creature to you. When it looks up at the tree, sing the song of the forest and it will jump up and take the vine. Go back to the hole entrance and sing it again and the creature will do it Lower one end of the vine to you. Dump the creature, then crawl back through the tunnel to the right and tie the vine to the rock. Get the creature to walk towards you and it will Drag the stone up into the hole, get stuck there. Bring the creature standing next to the stuck rock to you so that it is facing the tree on the left. Sing the song of the forest and you will get this vine over one of its branches, creating a basic pulley system. Crawl to the right one more time and the creature will follow you and you will make it back to the village.
