Chris Harrison reveals if he would consider returning to ‘The Bachelor’

Chris Harrison spoke out about a possible return “The bachelor.”

Just a month later start his podcast“The most dramatic podcast ever”, thThe 51-year-old former TV host speculated his pod’s success must have caught the attention of ABC executives.

“With the advent of this podcast, they’ve seen the numbers,” Harrison said the February 20, 2023 episode his pod. “You saw the reaction on my social media. You are not deaf to all this. You’ve seen what’s happening, so I’m shocked these talks are happening? No. It wouldn’t be a surprise. In fact, I’d be shocked if they didn’t happen.”

Harrison went straight to a report that claimed ABC executives were having “internal discussions” about bringing him back.

“Do I think those talks happened? Probably,” he added. “I think it would be almost crazy not to do it when you run a business, no business at all, and the business sales are down 50 to 60 percent and are falling – and anyone can see the numbers, we know what’s happening – and you think there’s something that could change and fix that? Of course you will have this conversation. You’d be crazy not to have this conversation.”

Harrison left the Bachelor franchise The consequences will be canceled in 2021 his controversial, race-related interview with former “Bachelorette” Rachel Lindsay. He was replaced by former “Bachelor” star Jesse Palmer.

According to The SunThe ratings for the season of “The Bachelor” with Zach Shallcross have dropped. The season premiere had just 2.96 million viewers, a drastic drop from Harrison’s last season as presenter, when 5.23 million viewers tuned in to see Matt James find love in 2021.

An insider said RadarOnline that Bachelor producers want Harrison back because the long-running ABC dating show is now struggling and practically “on life support.”

In his podcast, Harrison didn’t rule out future discussions with his former bosses.

“I live by the axiom never say never because in life and in business that bites you back to bite your butt,” he revealed. “Would I have this conversation? Yes. I also believe in relationships and business, take the call and you listen and you have this conversation whether it’s awkward or not.”

Harrison’s comments mark a major change in mood over an episode his podcast earlier in February. Back then, he told guest Kaitlyn Bristowe that while he missed the people he worked with and the “talented crew” on The Bachelor shows, that was about it.

“The whole show, no. I don’t [miss it]’ he said of The Bachelor. “This ship has sailed and it has been wonderful. I don’t say this with bitterness. There is a time and a space for all relationships.”

According to The Daily MailABC has not indicated that there are any plans to approach Harrison with an offer to bring him back to The Bachelor franchise.
