Chris Sutton expresses sympathy for Rangers star during Celtic clash with Josh Windass praising him

Meanwhile, Chris Sutton expressed sympathy to Rangers star Aaron Ramsey Commentary on Premier Sports on Sunday afternoon – when the Ibrox ace came off injured against Celtic. Josh Windass also had his say.
Ramsey, 31, played 80 minutes against Braga in the Europa League on Thursday night – many of Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s players played 120 minutes. On Sunday they had to go again.
Perhaps a surprise starter against Celtic given Ramsey’s injury streak, he lasted just 43 minutes – as Rangers won 2-1 after extra time. He was replaced by Scott Wright; extent of injury unknown.
A curl from Scott Arfield and Fashion Sakala’s winner in overtime saw Rangers snuff out Greg Taylor’s opener. Sutton reacted during the comment – while ex-Rangers attacker Windass praised the Welshman.
“There was a lot of talk about his signing but he just didn’t get enough minutes in a Rangers shirt. Such a talented player,” Sutton said during his role as co-commentator Rory Hamilton on Premier Sports.

Sutton, Windass on Ramsey: Rangers need him fit badly
With Ramsey on the pitch, Rangers were the far better side. His ability to lose his marker and find space between the lines has been noticeable during his loan – which has been full of ups and downs so far.
A few goals and his performance against Braga – declared his best by Owen Hargreaves in a Rangers shirt – are certainly highlights. Van Bronckhorst needs him fit as we enter the final stages of the season.
Ramsey now has a full week to rest before Rangers take on Motherwell on Sunday. But then it’s a huge Europa League semi-final game against RB Leipzig. Rangers need Ramsey for this game.
