Cities in Pennsylvania to Visit During the Vacation

(WHTM) — Pennsylvania has an abundance of many small towns and locations that celebrate the holiday season in their own unique ways.
abc27 has compiled a list of some of the best small towns in the state of Keystone where you can really experience the magic of the holiday season.
New Hope
loud country life, This is one of the best places to visit the state for Christmas. The city has its own North Pole Express where you and your family can be treated to cookies, cocoa and even a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus!
Bethlehem
This city is right near Allentown in the eastern part of the state. Country Living recommends that this city offers horse-drawn carriage rides and Christmas walks. The city hosts two Christmas markets, the authentic one Village of Christmas City downtown and Christmas market.

travel expected states that small cafes and shops with decorated windows line the streets. Moravian stars from 1747 also shine around this small town here in Central State.
Bernville
Bernville houses the famous Koziar Christmas Village with dozens of indoor and outdoor light shows. The Village consistently ranks among the top attractions in Pennsylvania. Bernville is in Berks County.
Indiana
Indiana, located in Indiana County, hosts the annual It’s a Wonderful Life Festival, based on the 1946 film of the same name. The city is also the birthplace of James Stewart, who played George Bailey in the film. Indiana is also known as the Christmas Tree Capital of the World with its numerous Christmas tree farms
Jim Thorpe
Located in Carbon County, Jim Thorpe is known for its small town atmosphere and quiet streets lined with small shops and restaurants. The city houses one Old time Christmas Celebration on the first weekends of December.
Wellsboro
Located in Tioga County, Wellsboro is home to their Dickens from a Christmas party yearly. The festival features over 170 vendors and recreates a 19th-century Victorian marketplace. It showcases the old-fashioned Christmas spirit and Victorian vibe to match Wellsboro’s gaslights.
The city also houses Christmas on the main street the second weekend in December.
Hershey
Located in Midstate, Hershey offers many vacation delights and fun activities. The Christmas Candylane in Hersheypark features 5 million lights as well as Hershey Sweet Lights, a drive-through Christmas light trail that stretches two miles through the woods and countryside.
