CME milk and dairy prices mostly closed higher on Friday

Milk futures and cash dairy prices were mostly higher on Friday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Class III milk in April rose a penny to $23.69. May closed $0.08 at $24.55. June closed $0.08 at $24.35. July rose $0.22 to $24.17. August-March contracts were between twelve cents lower and eighteen cents higher, with November and December futures contracts falling.

Dry whey fell $0.0525 to $0.61. Six sales were recorded from $0.61 to $0.64.

Cheese Blocks surged $0.0450 to close at $2.2850. A sale was made at this price.

Cheese Barrels were $0.05 higher to close at $2.2525. Seven trades were recorded from $2.21 to $2.2525.

Butter rose a penny to $2.71. Two sales were recorded at $2.6950 and $2.71.

Non-Fat Dry Milk closed $0.0050 at $1.85. Eight sales were recorded from $1.8450 to $1.87.
