A unique element of the wedges is Cobra’s progressive groove design to optimize performance by adjusting groove depth and width for each specific loft. The 48-54 degree lofts feature traditional groove length and narrower and deeper grooves, while the higher-lofted 56-60 degree lofts feature full-face groove length and wider and shallower grooves, um Maximize spin on open face shots.

The Snakebite wedges also offer three different grind options so each player can select the wedge sole design that best suits their game and playing style.

Versatile grind: An all round sole shape for medium to firm course conditions, heel, toe and trailing edge relief.
Classic cut: A traditional sole width with trailing edge relief for neutral to steeper turns to reduce digging.
Broad grinding: A low-rebound but wider sole design that works best in soft conditions to prevent the club from getting stuck in turf or sand.

The Snakebite Wedges are available now and retail for $159 each. The Snakebite wedges are available in satin chrome and black QPQ finishes.

decency

The new limited edition King Forged Tec Black Irons offer the same technology as the standard Forged Tec and Forged Tec X models, but in a military grade DBM (Diamondized Black Metal) finish that offers more resistance to wear and corrosion compared to other black irons carbon steel surfaces on the market.

The DBM finish is chemically implanted into the metal to enhance surface hardness for durability while retaining the soft feel of 5 stage forged 1025 carbon steel.

Beneath the surface of the new black King Forged Tec is a cavity filled with a lightweight, vibration-absorbing foam that further improves sound, feedback and feel at impact.

Cobra also adds a 20-gram tungsten toe weight to the 3-7 irons, which helps balance the weight in the hosel and positions the CG just behind the sweet spot. This improves overall feel at impact while maintaining off-centre stability on heel and toe misses. In other words, don’t expect the loss of spacing between center and off-center hits to be noticeable, especially with a compact profile.

price and availability

The Limited Edition Forged Tec and Forged Tec X Black irons are available in a 7-piece (4-PW) right-handed set, while a left-handed Forged Tec set will also be available. They retail for $1599 for Steel and $1799 for Graphite. Cobra also offers several free and paid stock and grip offerings through its custom program.
