Thursday’s gala in Manchester aims to raise the bar even higher, raising a further £350,000 for the cause.
Ex-footballer Jamie joined current players Trent Alexander-Arnold of Liverpool and Everton’s Conor Coady and Dominic Calvert-Lewin to launch the campaign in 2021 as the Covid pandemic hit young people in Liverpool and across cities isolated across Britain.

“It’s a fantastic initiative which I hope will help working class children find employment in many different ways. Behind it are many football players across the country and I’m proud to be a part of it.”
