As quoted by Guardian, he said: “In England I think sometimes you should have a conference with the medical department. It’s too easy for the doctors to work here because they don’t speak, they don’t explain what’s happening, you know?”

As we approach mid-April, Skipp is still not back.

What’s the matter?

Well the latest update on the England Under-21 international is this.

Corresponding PA sports Journalist Jonathan Veal, the medical department has a specific date for Skipp to train and if he isn’t ready by then they will write off the season for him.

Now, just days ago, Conte said missing the rest of the season is not an option for the youngster and he is determined to get him back (Football London).

So if the medical department – who never held that press conference – tells the 52-year-old he can’t have his No. 29 back this season, he’ll probably be furious.

Tottenham are said to let Oliver Skipp rest

As desperate as Conte is to have Skipp back, we believe Spurs need to rest him and let him recover properly.

The midfielder’s injury is linked to a problem with his pubic symphysis, a joint in the pelvic area usually caused by heavy workloads Football London.

They add that Skipp has played 85 games over two seasons, which is quite a lot for a 21-year-old.

So it’s important that Tottenham let him recover properly at Hotspur Way so that Conte can use him regularly next season.
