In fan-captured video from the VIP Q&A session at the “Dancing With the Stars” live tour stop on Saturday, February 11, 2023, Season 31 contestant Daniel Durant answers a question about it , which cast members are dating, and fans say he revealed that he and partner Britt Stewart have taken their relationship to the next level.

The video, but uploaded to Instagram later posted on RedditShe has fans who think Durant and Stewart will announce their relationship soon.

Durant, who is deaf, signals, “Oh, I wanted to get back to the other question when you asked if anyone is dating.”

Durant’s interpreter, Gabriel Gomez’s voice, can be heard interpreting, but the video cuts out before Durant announces the relationship, with fans saying that’s what happened next.

Fans say Durant announced he and Stewart are dating

People who attended the show took to the comments section to share what actually happened in the video.

“He said a lot of people kept asking if they were dating. And yes, they confirm that they are together”, oa person wrote on Reddit. “I understand very clearly what he signed.”

Some people were confused on why the news wasn’t released immediately, although another shared that Durant said they would be “putting out an announcement soon” about their relationship, and others said they didn’t want to post out of respect for the partners’ privacy.

People also took to Twitter to say that Durant said that during the show.

“Daniel Legit just said ‘Britt and I are dating’ and then they did this adorable side hug,” said one person who attended the Q&A wrote on Twitter.

After a recent Instagram live videoHer fans asked about her relationship status.

“Britt, I know you see this so much, but I just have to say again that I love the way you and Daniel look at each other. You can see the love in both of your eyes.” one person wrote.

Another commented, “Okay well don’t tell us if you’re dating or not, I understand you want privacy… but… when you’re together just know BEST COUPLE EVER ♥️ and when you’re not together just know BEST PARTNERSHIP OF ALL TIMES.”

During the Dancing With the Stars season, some fans hoped the couple would start dating.

One Person went to Reddit Sharing hopes that the relationship will develop into something more.

“Okay, I don’t usually ship people on TV, but I totally ship this,” the thread reads. “For the nd week I can see something in them where they like each other more as a friend. With the trip to NYC, Britt and Gabe’s Insta stories, their past lives and the necklaces, I realized they liked each other more than friends and that’s what I’m here for.”

They added that it’s “okay if they remain good friends,” but wanted to share their “positive tirade” about the relationship.

People have responded to the Reddi thread in line with the original commenter.

“I hate dwts showmances but I totally agree that Daniel and Britt are becoming a thing,” one comment read. “You are so damn adorable. His teaching her ASL and her teaching him how to dance are total relationship goals. The way Britt stares at Daniel when he speaks during an interview.”

Dancing With the Stars is slated to return to Disney+ in fall 2023.
