Cory Hardrikt says he didn’t cheat Tia Mowry amid the news of their recent split, while taking to social media to reflect on the reason for the split after 14 years together and two children together.

In an Instagram comment of the couple posted on Wednesday, one fan wrote: “Cory nooooo. Don’t fiddle Tia!!!” to which someone replied, “He already fumbled Ma.”

“Lie!” The 42-year-old actor responded to the cheating allegations.

While Tia admitted the two were “determined to go their separate ways,” she didn’t reveal the exact reason for the split, and many fans have speculated about Cory’s infidelity.

“I’ve always been honest with my fans and today is no different. I wanted to share that Cory and I have decided to go our separate ways. These decisions are never easy and are not without sadness.”

Fans support Cory amid cheating allegations and slam baseless ‘rumours’

Following Cory’s response to the cheating allegations, fans headed to The Shade Room Instagram to voice their opinions, with many siding with Cory and others and challenging those who instigated the rumor.

“There you make up all the stories… and here comes the train 😂 BYE,” wrote one person. “I love how people who aren’t in their house swear they understand something ish,” commented another.

One commenter noted, “This is how you answer all questions like you know Forreal,” and another added, “Why do people start rumours?”

Some question Cory’s one-word response to allegations, others speculate whether rumors may be true

Not everyone was happy with Cory’s one-word response to the allegations, however. A handful of commenters wrote that they still want to know what happened, while others noted that whatever the reason for the divorce, Tia seems “DONE, done.”

One commenter, in Cory’s defense, recalled a story “years ago” in which he retold a time when a woman “tried to talk to him (on set) and he shut it off.”

“Years ago there was a story that Cory was on set and a woman tried to talk to him and he shut it down. I don’t think he cheated. I think maybe it’s a midlife thing. I’ve been married 16 years and people change.”
