Daniel Craig leaves fans shocked and touched as he visits Bauer Media Radio

Daniel Craig left viewers slightly shaken and quite moved during a visit to Bauer Media Radio Studios in London on Wednesday morning.

Even the smartly dressed James Bond would have agreed when the former 007 showed up in a classic houndstooth suit at his recent promotional appearance for the new film Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.

Craig, 54, completed the look with a blue shirt, spotted tie and matching pocket square, while Argyll socks and formal brown leather shoes completed his ensemble.

His new film follows a group of toadies and friends of billionaire Miles (Ed Norton) who find themselves on an island with a murderer on the loose.

As with the first Knives Out film, director Rian Johnson has assembled an all-star cast including Janelle Monáe, Kate Hudson, Leslie Odom Jr. and Dave Bautista.

Craig’s detective Benoit Blanc is the only returning character – with the British actor admitting he worked as hard as he could to get back into the Southern detective’s headroom – especially given his signature accent.

“I’m in it all the time, all the time,” he told the Associated Press. “I have to work really hard at it, but once it’s in, it’s in and then it’s a part of me.”

However, he did admit to dropping the accent at home with loved ones, including daughter Ella Loudon and actress Rachel Weisz.

“My family isn’t that nice, I’m not allowed to,” he joked.

Craig also admitted that dancing doesn’t come naturally to him – but he couldn’t resist a suggestion from Thor: Love and Thunder director Taika Waititi to star in a new commercial.

The couple recently collaborated on a Belvedere vodka ad, which has the former James Bond actor swaying his hips and wiggling through hotel corridors while showing off tattooed biceps and a gorgeous pout.

“It was hard work because I don’t dance. So the fact of the matter is we had a great choreographer in JaQuel Knight that came in and I worked with him for a couple of days,” he said.

“I just tried. You don’t get opportunities like this very often.”

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery is getting a limited theatrical release before showing internationally on Netflix on December 23.
