Daniella Karagach reunites with Mirrorball Partners in new video

Daniella Karagach has reunited with Iman Shumpert in a new video.

Dancing With the Stars professional dancer Daniella Karagach has reunited with Iman Shumpert in a new series of photos and videos she posted Instagram.

“We missed you Shump,” Karagach wrote as the caption for the post, which included photos of her and husband Pasha Pashkov posing with Shumpert. She also included a video of their reunion.

Shumpert hugs Karagach before leaning in to cradle her baby bump. The last photo in the set shows Shumpert resting his head on Karagakh’s stomach.

Karagach and Shumpert met while working together on the 29th season of Dancing With the Stars. They overcame their tremendous height difference to come away with the win at the end of the relay, thanks in part to the incredible lifts they were able to pull off.

Daniella Karagach shared a video telling Iman Shumpert that she is pregnant

Daniella Karagach revealed that Iman Shumpert actually had her favorite reaction of all when she told him she was pregnant.

In the Instagram video for Ben Platt’s song “imagine,” Karagach cries as she looks at multiple pregnancy tests. Then she and her husband hug their parents after telling them. The video then shows Facetime calls between the couple and their friends, including Dancing With the Stars alum Kate Flannery.

“A baby? Are you having a baby?!” Flannery asks in the video, before smiling and cheering for the couple.

However, Shumpert’s reaction was Karagach’s favorite.

“We have to take care of the baby, so we’re fine,” Karagach is heard saying while talking to him on the phone. He immediately has a shocked reaction on his face before lighting up and clapping with the biggest smile.

“To be honest, most of our revelations to our friends and family were so spontaneous that we didn’t even get a chance to show them on video,” Karagach wrote. “I wish I had more because some were too damn good. Here are some that I remembered picking up and putting a smile on my face every time I look at them. I can’t believe how fast the time has flown and how crazy it is that I’m already in my last trimester!!!”

Iman Shumpert almost didn’t do Dancing With the Stars

Shumpert was revealed during a first-person view Post written for Ebony.com that he didn’t originally want to do “Dancing With the Stars”.

Shumpert said he was still training for the NBA when he got the call to do “Dancing With the Stars,” and he thought the show reached out because they thought he was retiring.

“And I wasn’t originally planning to do it because I felt like if people were going to see me on the show — that he’s just a retired player,” he said. “Then I found out my mom loved the show and she was super excited when I spoke to her on the phone. After I spoke to my wife, she said the same thing.”

He added: “The encouragement has thrown it over time. But believe me, I had never sat down and watched the show.”

He also said he was nervous after watching a few episodes before going to rehearsals.

“Actually, I was a little nervous, like, ‘I don’t think this is for me,'” he said as he pondered. “‘If I don’t have a big partner, it’s going to be pretty difficult.'”

Dancing With the Stars is slated to return to Disney+ in fall 2023.
