David Seaman says a Liverpool player has kicked a bad habit

Speaking of Sailor Says PodcastDavid Seaman has spoken out about Alisson Becker and his improvement since joining Liverpool.
The Brazilian joined the Reds in 2018 and while he was fantastic from day one, there were a few issues in his game that needed to be ironed out.
Indeed, Alisson was initially quite eccentric with the ball at his feet, making step-overs, flicks and tricks and that inevitably cost the Reds the occasional – perhaps most famously against Leicester City in 2018.
However, Seaman has noted that Alisson has lost that trait and is now playing confidently with the ball at his feet.

Seaman spoke about Alisson and his first impressions of the goalkeeper.
“When Alisson first came on he got caught a couple of times, he tried to do flicks, tricks and everything but he cut that out of his game, he’s a confident goalkeeper, he plays confidently with the ball at his feet – just like Aaron (Ramsdale) does,” Seaman said.
Matured
Alisson was already well on his way to becoming a world-class goalkeeper before joining Liverpool but it was at Anfield that he really matured.
He used to be quite unpredictable and could make the wrong decisions from time to time, but now his judgment is spot on every time and it’s hard to remember the last time he made a mistake.
Yes, he still has a trick or two up his sleeve, but those moments are rare and he only pulls out showboating when it’s necessary these days.
Alisson is almost the perfect modern goalkeeper.
