Decorating a Fae farmhouse is basically a stat building feng shui

Fairy Farm is one of those farming and life simulations that also contains action RPG elements. Although you gain “levels” in certain skills such as farming and mining, this does not affect your avatar’s stats. Rather, Phoenix Labs is doing something that I found fascinating. How to decorate your house Fairy Farm determines how much health, magical power and stamina you have. Staying in it also helps to restore this. It made me feel like it was interior design Feng Shui, where what you implemented directly impacted your life.

Basically this is handled in three ways. When you enter your home and enter construction mode, you can go to the “Decoration” section to access the “Construction” section. Here the items are grouped into the categories “Cozy Furniture”, “Crafting”, “Decor” and “Carpets & Paths”. It is the “decor” section that is fascinating. Each piece of furniture here is labeled as a “Comforting, Cozy Object,” “Inspirational, Cozy Object,” or “Relaxing, Cozy Object.” Fairy Farm. The calming items increase your health, the inspiring items increase your MP pool, and the relaxing items increase your stamina. So how much you invest in your home and how much effort you put into it will determine how effectively you will run your business in Azoria.

Part of the beauty of it is how much sense it makes because of how Phoenix Labs implemented it. The calming things are all things that you can basically sit back with. There is a tub. There are sofas, benches and chairs. You have pillows. Nowadays, the relaxation furniture seems to be the kind that revolves around eating and sleeping. A nice bed, a nice chair, a round table and a sink fit in here. These inspirational pieces are tied to activities or even artistic endeavors. This section includes a small bookshelf, a painting easel, a gramophone and a tall vase. There is a sense of practicality.

Also, you can’t just spam specific parts of it Fairy Farm Furniture to increase your health, MP or stamina when decorating a house. I tried this with rustic stools. Only the first one brought a bonus. Subsequent versions have not helped me game the system for cheap health benefits.

I also found it interesting that this is not binding Fairy Farm Health, MP, and stamina increase with levels, but are still tied to progression. When you first start the game, you’ll probably only be able to place things like the cozy rustic stool for 6 beech logs, a painting easel for 2 beech wood and 1 copper ingot, or a cute bed for 1 copper ingot and 5 oak wood. You won’t get these additional items for higher buffs until you unlock locations like Floating Ruins and Burnt Caverns. You have to put in a lot of effort to get 3 antique lumber, 3 orichalcum ingots and polished garnet for a sink, gold ingots and 2 polished diamonds for a tall vase, or two antique lumber and five silks for a sofa.

To be honest, the way the system builds my health, MP and stamina Fairy Farm was related to how I decorated my house and ended up being what motivated me to keep playing the game. I’m a little put off by other features because of how they are executed. But the fulfillment that came from finally getting the materials I needed for new pieces of furniture, making them, and installing them in my home helped me develop a sense of life Fairy Farm. It pushed me to continue engaging in tasks that I would have otherwise given up due to their repetitive nature. I really appreciated it.

Fairy Farm is available for Nintendo Switch and PC.
