Delilah Hamlin experiences medical anxiety on music video set

The RHOBH star’s daughter had a medical scare.

Delilah Belle Hamlin shared details of a severe medical anxiety she suffered. The eldest daughter of former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna and her husband Harry Hamlin revealed she had multiple seizures while filming the music video for her song. “Nothing is forever.”

Hamelin, 24, said Entertainment Tonight that the health crisis happened during a long day of filming her debut music video. “The second day of shooting the music video, it was about nine hours a day and I was suffering from seizures,” she said. “I had a seizure on set.”

Hamlin, who has had seizures in the past, added that while it was the “worst” seizure she’s had in a while, she pushed through and kept working – just like her famous mum taught her. The model explained that her mother lives by the mantra that if you “die, if you throw up, if you throw up,” you still “show up for work.”

Hamlin has dealt with issues with her health for several years. According to Fox NewsShe previously revealed that she suffered from a variety of illnesses including Lyme disease, Epstein-Barr virus, encephalitis and more.

In a 2022 interview with Flaunt magazineHamlin confirmed to fans that she’s been “struggling with health and seizures” for at least two years. “I started having seizures in July of last year,” she said, adding that at first doctors couldn’t figure out exactly why it was happening to her. After having a bad experience with Xanax, she eventually decided to adopt a sober lifestyle due to an encephalitis that was contributing to the seizures.

In early 2023, Hamlin shared an Instagram story that showed her with an IV in her arm. per page six. “For the past several years I have struggled with autoimmune/chronic disease issues that I have quietly battled and overcome,” she captioned the photo in January. “It was definitely tough, both physically and mentally,” she continued. “I’ve kind of been silent because I don’t want to be cast in a ‘sick’ role.”

Hamlin admitted that the lyrics to her songs are “heavy”. In an interview with billboard, She said her personal struggles helped inspire her music. “Yes, I’ve struggled with my mental and physical health over the past few years, and I didn’t want to be so open about my struggles,” she explained. “But at the same time they are heavy [lyrics] and they really convey exactly how I felt.”

Hamlin added that she hopes people who are struggling in their lives can take comfort that sometimes she feels the same way.

“I want people to be able to, when they’re sitting on their bathroom floor or lying in bed and they feel like they’re dying and that moment isn’t going to go away, I want them to be able to say, ‘Okay, wait, someone else feels that way.’” she said. “If that can help someone, that would be just amazing.”
