Destiny 2 Prep for the New Season Guide – Season 17 Checklist

Season 17 of Destiny 2 is coming soon. Last season was nothing short of spectacular. As Guardians, we managed to defeat another god. While we’re not yet sure what new challenges next season will bring, here’s everything you can do as you prepare for the new season.

Checklist to prepare for the new season of Destiny 2

Complete the Season Pass

The current season pass comes with many exciting rewards and cosmetics. If you have purchased the Season Pass, make sure you complete all levels in the Season Pass as you will not be able to get these rewards once that Season is complete. To complete the Season Pass quickly, try to complete as many Seasonal Challenges as possible. This will help you get through the season pass quickly.

Stock up on weekly rewards

Seasonal Challenges aside, the Weekly Bounties offer the highest amount of XP in Destiny 2. Fill up on as many Weekly Bounties as you can. If you already have these bounties, try to complete them, but don’t turn them in. Since these offer a lot of XP, turn them in once the new season starts. How to get through the next season pass quickly. In addition, it also helps you level up the seasonal artifact. Here is a list of all the Weekly Rewards you can claim during the current Season.

  • Suraya Hawthorn: 4 weekly rewards for clan activities.
  • star horse: 3 weekly rewards for Dares of Eternity.
  • Lectern of Enchantment: 2 weekly rewards for Nightmare Hunts.
  • Variks of Loyalty: 1 weekly bounty for brave expedition.
  • Shaw Han: 2 weekly bounties on the Cosmodrome.
  • Petra Venj: 2 weekly bounties in the Dreaming City.

Collect/trade planetary and crafting materials

In the next season of Destiny 2, the Etheric Spirals will be leaving the game. Turn in these planetary materials before the current season ends. The current exchange rate is 20 of the planetary material for 10,000 Glimmer. So make your way to Master Rahool in the Tower and turn in all of your Ethereal Spirals before the current season ends. Also, Ruinous, Adroit, Mutable, Drowned, and Energetic Elements will also be removed next season. So make sure you use all these materials before the new season starts.
