Destiny 2: Stoking The Flame Quest Bug – how to fix it

Players returning to enjoy Destiny 2’s latest expansion, The Witch Queen, may encounter a “funny” new bug. And no, this time it’s probably not Telesto’s doing. During The Witch Queen’s main campaign, players reported a bug involving two quests, Stoke the Flame and Ride the Storm.

Essentially, players will receive notifications that the quests have not been completed and must be beaten. The bug doesn’t seem to affect progression in any way, and Bungie is aware of that. In a February 25, 2022 Twitter post, Bungie Help stated that the quests “may be erroneously granted to experienced players due to a previous fix and cannot be discarded. Players can complete the quests to remove them from their inventory. “

For those unfortunate enough to receive these harmless errors, Bungie is still working on a fix. Guardians can either wait for the fix or complete the missions again to clear the message. As it turns out, no good deed goes unpunished since that mistake is the result of crushing another mistake. Fortunately, this time it’s rather harmless and not groundbreaking.
