Diane Kruger has admitted she didn’t want children for “a long time” and then thought it was too late as she spoke while posing up a storm for a magazine cover.

The 46-year-old actress said she didn’t want children when she was younger and then gave up hope in her late 30s when she wanted children but wasn’t in a place where it was “possible”.

But she said the arrival of her four-year-old daughter Nova Tennessee in 2018 changed everything for her and her longtime partner Norman Reedus.

She appeared as Tatler’s January cover star and explained, “I haven’t wanted kids for a long time. I liked my life the way it was.

“I started thinking about it in my late 30’s, but I wasn’t at a point in my relationship at the time — or whatever — where that would be a possibility, so I kind of had given up hope and I thought it would.” would just be too late.’

“The arrival of Nova changed my life – our life – in the best possible way. It’s just amazing that you thought you were one thing but you should be doing something completely different,” she added.

Her comments came as she caused a stir in a series of sensational photos as part of Tatler’s January cover.

In one fell swoop, she put on a glamorous show in a voluminous purple dress with an extravagant ruffled skirt and sleeves.

She completed her look with clear black gloves and styled her blonde tresses in a slicked back updo.

The actress emphasized her natural beauty with a smokey eye makeup palette and a swipe of red lipstick for the cover shoot.

It comes after Diane celebrated her six-year anniversary with partner Norman, 53, in July.
