Did Elon Musk Fire Twitter Board Members?

No, at the time of writing, Elon has not fired the Twitter board.

The billionaire, who is hyperactive on Twitter these days, updated his followers about a series of changes he plans to make to the platform.

However, none of his tweets indicate that he will fire members of the board once the company’s acquisition is complete.

Although on 18.4. Elon reportedly replied to a Twitter user by saying, “The executive salary will be $0 if my offer is successful, so it will save exactly $3 million per year.”

The 50-year-old business tycoon previously tweeted what he plans to do with the company’s shareholders once he fully acquires the platform.

“Will seek to retain as many shareholders as legally permitted in privatized Twitter,” he said wrote in a tweet on 04/14

What the management of Twitter thinks about the acquisition of Elon

Some members of Twitter’s board of directors have endorsed the acquisition of Elon, with the oldest member supporting the deal.

The co-founder of the company Jack Dorsey supports the Tesla CEO by writing: “Elon is the unique solution that I trust. I trust its mission to expand the light of consciousness.”

However, Bruce Daisley, who was once Twitter’s most senior staffer outside the US and vice president for Europe, Middle East and Africa, questioned Elon’s renewed focus on free speech.

A Twitter employee confused about his standing at the company wrote a Tweet saying: “Can someone please tell me if I’m rich or fired?”
