Diddy says Yung Miami is his ‘shawty wop’, not ‘side chick’

diddy speaks! Brother Love has been pretty quiet since shocking the world on December 10 with his news about his father of seven. We’ve seen him retweet an interview, like tweets about his brand of tequila, and share his usual motivational messages.
I am so blessed to welcome my baby girl, Love Sean Combs, into the world. Mama Combs, Quincy, Justin, Christian, Chance, D’Lila, Jessie and I all love you so much! God is the greatest!

But Diddy remained silent on social media as the rapper cracked down on academics and online users Monday for being labeled his “side chick.” Finally, more than 24 hours after Miami and Akademiks exchanged insults, accusations and petty solicitations, Brother Love decided to deal with the criticism — the minor matter.
“@yungmiami is not my side chick. It never was, never will be. She’s very important and special to me and I don’t play with my shawty wop. I don’t discuss anything online and I’m not starting today,” he tweeted.
Though he said he doesn’t discuss his business online, he follows up with another tweet. The second tweet appears to have been created with Akademiks and other critics in mind — though Diddy didn’t specify.
“So think what you want. But know if you do anything to hurt me, I’ll come to your house and we’ll talk about it like humans,” Diddy tweeted.
Yung Miami apparently replied to Diddy’s tweet with a Screenshot of Birdman tell The Breakfast Club host to “Put on some respect [his] Surname.”

Here’s what happened between Akademiks and Yung Miami after he called her a “side chick.”
Akademiks wasn’t the only person to call Miami a “side chick,” but on Monday (December 13) she called him out on Twitter. The podcast host sparked the call with a tweet made hours after Diddy’s baby announcement.
Diddy different… my nigga banged around and got a side baby in his harem of side chicks. Brother love a real 1. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Though he didn’t name Miami in the tweet, he addressed her directly a YouTube video published on Monday. First he defined a city girl as “A chick with low self esteem… a placeholder on a roster.”
“Yung Miami is like Diddy’s side chick. Like one of them… he got eight, nine. Okay maybe I shouldn’t call her a side chick because everyone says how can she be a side chick when she’s the main character? She’s on the list,” Akademiks said.
So Yung Miami popped up and popped up at Akademiks. She accused him of a “b***ha**n***a” and “Police an asshole.” In turn, he claimed she had a nervous breakdown over the baby news and claimed Miami acted like she learned Diddy’s life update from the internet — like the rest of us.
She denied his claims. Both later threw small shots at each other. He offered “Babysitting Tips” in a Twitch promotional tweet, and she gave buyers of Caresha Please a one-day 20% discount with code LILAK.

Nick Canon wives would never…have a nervous breakdown the day he announces a new baby…I’m just saying…. Focus on… you’ll know what you’re signing up for.

Brother Love must have left a message for Yung Miami questioning him as he read.
