If there’s anything that can worry us more than a strong-looking monster, it’s the dialogue choices. This is true even for simple questions like “Help her up?” and more on quizzes like “Kill the monster?” Voice of Cards: Forsaken Maiden is a game filled with such dialogue options from start to finish, so you might be wondering if any of your choices have consequences.
While none of your choices actually affect the main story, someAmong them are consequences. These consequences are mostly minor, although some of them are mission related. For example, early in the game, you will encounter a strange-smelling perfume on the South Isle. You have the option of returning it to its owner or not, and your choice will affect… something.
Some options even determine how much more difficult your journey will be. So if you’re given weird dialogue options, think about it for a moment. The only dialogue options that don’t cause some serious consequences are the ones you encounter in the underworld. Those are just cases for you to earn more items or money.
If you miss anything the first time you play, you can always get New Game+ and play things differently.
