Jodie Whittaker’s final farewell as Doctor Who’s legendary Time Lord has been teased across the show’s social media with a brand new trailer.

It was also announced that the long-awaited episode, titled Power Of The Doctor, will be released on October 23 – meaning fans will only have to wait a few weeks to see the dramatic finale.

The actress will be leaving the BBC sci-fi drama after five years as the 13th and first doctor in next month’s anniversary special.

During the finale, the star will reportedly pay tribute to past Time Lords by wearing their iconic outfits throughout the feature-length episode.

Jodie previously teased the episode, telling Empire Magazine: “She has all the iconic things that you associate with Doctor Who. It’s huge.”

And speaking about her impending screen departure, she admitted: “I can’t talk about it without crying. When I could see that the crew was happy with the last shot, my lower lip started to hurt.

“I was like, ‘Well, they can’t say they need another shot now because I lost it!'” she joked.
