Will Harvestella allow you to play with friends? Find out here.
Square Enix’s new life simulation game Harvestella is finally here. Mixing RPG elements with the simulator genre, this seems to offer a unique new flavor and style in a hugely popular genre. However, with this new entry, many have been wondering if there will be some kind of multiplayer mode that will allow players to play with their friends. Here’s what you need to know whether Harvestella offers a co-op or multiplayer mode.
Co-op and multiplayer in Harvestella
It may come as a bit of a surprise to you, but Harvestella does not offer any multiplayer or co-op. It is purely a single player game with no possibility to play it with others. This applies to both platforms on which the game is available: whether you play it on Nintendo Switch or PC via Steam, Harvestella is a purely solo adventure.
This may be crucial news for some buyers as the simulator genre to which the game belongs often benefits most from games with multiplayer gameplay. So far, Square Enix hasn’t released any news on whether multiplayer will be part of the game’s future. It’s unclear if something like this will be added, but we’ll update you if we hear anything about it.
Until then, that’s all you need to know whether Harvestella offers a co-op or multiplayer mode. If you’re looking for more news about this new Square Enix simulator, check out Twinfinite’s guide on whether you can play the game on the Steam Deck.
