So is Nadia dying in season 4 of You?

Let’s get straight to the point: No, Nadia doesn’t die in season 4 of You. However, she suffers a far worse fate than death.

Towards the end of the finale, Nadia is snooping around Joe’s apartment and discovers a box full of Rhys Montrose’s (Ed Speleers) personal belongings. She takes evidence photos and meets with Eddie so they can go to the authorities. Unfortunately, their plans go awry when Joe catches them.

Joe brutally murders Eddie off-screen, telling Nadia that the boy will go down for Rhys’ death. He continues to frame Nadia for Eddie’s death, placing the murder weapon in her hands and stating that once the authorities find out that Eddie is the one who wreaked havoc in the town, they will realize that Nadia killed him to end his reign of terror once and for all.

In a shocking turn of events, Joe frames Nadia in the Season 4 finale of You.

At the end, Joe reveals via narration that Nadia “refused to speak in her own defense” and still hasn’t spoken out from prison.

When asked if she was surprised Joe slandered Nadia, the actress told Amy-Leigh Turn, “I think I was shocked because I was like, ‘She’s not going to make it,’ and I think if I looked at it I’d be like, ‘No, she’s going to get killed.'”

“But I think in a weird way Joe thinks he’s helping Nadia because he’s not killing her,” she continued. “Joe is a very, very complex character, but he doesn’t think he’s doing anything wrong. He thinks he’s helping and it could be a lot worse, she could be dead.”

Speaking of which she lives to see another day, is there a chance we’ll see Nadia again? Better yet, will the serial killer’s former student find a way to prove her innocence? Amy says it’s not out of the question.

“She’s smart and she’s come this far so I definitely wouldn’t put my credit to her. I think she’s definitely capable of it,” Amy said exclusively Turn. “I know that she is silent in the last part of the series, [but] I’m pretty sure she’s not silent because she wants to, she’s planning and probably planning something. I don’t think she’ll be stuck for too long.”
