Dogecoin, GameStop, AMC, Beyond Meat: What to watch when the stock market opens today

Stock futures contract lower ahead of the Fed’s two-day policy meeting, which is expected to end with the central bank signaling faster way tighter policy. Here’s what we’re looking at in Tuesday’s trading:

• Cryptocurrency dogecoin jumped up to 40% above its level on Monday at 5pm ET after Tesla Chief Elon Musk tweeted “Tesla will make some goods purchasable with Doge and let’s see how it goes.” any.” Tesla shares were down 1.3% before the market.

• The top names of the meme stock craze are extending their losses before closing decline in Monday. GameStop fell 3% pre-market after closing 14% down. AMC Entertainment was down 6.1% before airing, up 15% on Monday.

• Beyond Meat gets an extra 4.6% pre-market. Piper Sandler has upgraded her rating and price target for the plant-based meat company’s stock.

• Claros Mortgage Trust added 4.6% hourly discount. The commercial real estate finance company said it experienced a jump in startup activity in the third quarter.
