Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is known for getting off the team bus and attracting attention (see: Nike necklace and sunglasses outfit). One person who has noticed Burrow’s confidence is Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel, who commented on the former No. 1’s personality on and off the field.

McDaniel, who is preparing his team to face the defending AFC champion on Thursday night in Week 4, said (via the Dolphins’ official transcript): “Well, when I get off the bus, I see booty. And then on the field – which Yes, I have a permanent place in my heart for [swag].”

The head coach went on to commend Burrow for being able to handle the pressure of expectations around him.

“You’re No. 1 in the draft. That’s a liability for some. It’s been a blessing for him and I really respect people who come out and take all that hype and live up to it or beat it. The guy has a great vision and awareness,” McDaniel said. “He’s very mobile, both inside the pocket, staying a passer and fleeing to run. Great touch. Great accuracy. And he really doesn’t just make plays for their offense, he helps other players play because of his ball position. “

In three games, McDaniel’s team is one of only two teams undefeated (with the Philadelphia Eagles) and has Burrow and co. in the way on their way to a 4-0 lead.

“He’s one of our league’s true young flag-bearers who’s doing a great job and it’s a tremendous challenge for our defense to go out there and really face him,” McDaniel said.

The Bengals’ season got off to a rocky start, losing their first two games to the Pittsburgh Steelers and Dallas Cowboys, but bouncing back in Week 3 with a win over the New York Jets.

Cincinnati still has to work on its offensive line and protect the quarterback. Burrow has been sacked 15 times so far this season, the most in the league.

Burrow must bring all of the above “loot” to take down the undefeated Finns. Dolphins’ Mike McDaniel on Joe Burrow ahead of Week 4 matchup: ‘When I get off the bus, I see booty’
