Don Hutchison has claimed that “nothing has really changed” at Leeds United under Jesse Marsch compared to their time under Marcelo Bielsa. as he told Premier League Productions (3/22/22 at 2:05 p.m.).
The former midfielder added that Leeds are “still insane” and “chaotic” under their new American manager.
If the relegation-threatened side do more of what they showed under Bielsa’s replacement, then fans will be in for a rollercoaster ride in the final months of the season.
From losing to Aston Villa to going 2-0 down and an epic 3-2 win over the ten-man Wolves last Friday.
Bielsa may well be out the door but his DNA is still on this side of Leeds, which was evident from Marsch’s first few games, as Hutchison shared his thoughts.
“Not yet (for sure), but back-to-back wins have given them an incredible opportunity,” Hutchison said. “You still have a bit of work to do.
“Nothing has really changed because this was still a chaotic Bielsa team. Still crazy and brilliant.
“Jesse Marsch kind of carried that trait on so Leeds fans have to hum.”
One thing that cannot be denied is that the Premier League needs Leeds because they are worse off without them.
Regardless of the Leeds squad’s injury status, mood, form or game situation, they will always play up front.
And that makes them the best entertainers in the English top flight.
Perhaps from the Yorkshire faithful’s point of view this will result in them losing more games than usual, but when things go well, as was the case with Wolves, these are experiences fans will never forget.
