Driver Suffers Serious Injuries In M6 Crash

A Merseyside Police spokesman said: “We can confirm that the Ambulance Services are dealing with a serious RTC on the M6 ​​this evening, Tuesday 14 February.

“Around 5.10pm Air Ambulance, NWMPG and Merseyside Police Officers were called to Junction 26 northbound (Orrell) to receive reports of a single RTC vehicle crashing a BMW into the median.

“The male driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

“The M6 ​​remains closed between Junction 26 and Junction 27 (Gathurst) northbound pending an investigation.”
