Dunkin’ gives Penn State Children’s Hospital a pick-me-up

HERSHEY, Pa. (WHTM) — Tuesday’s Hometown Heroes provided a much-needed break for fellow Hometown Heroes.
Dunkin’ stopped at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital in Hershey on Tuesday, February 7th, bringing plenty of free donuts and drinks for everyone who stopped by.
This is part of Dunkin’s Joy in Childhood Foundation project. The donations will help give healthcare heroes a pick-me-up.

“So this event is for our patients, families and staff at the hospital. I think it’s a great pick-me-up on a cold February morning,” said Child Life manager Ashley Kanne.
“[This event will] impacting the community, attending local charities, parades and sporting events,” said Jillian Gallagher of Dunkin’.
This year, Dunkin’ will donate millions of dollars to programs that help children who are sick or hungry. Also this year, around 100,000 free cups of coffee will be given out at events like this one.
