A DWTS champion needed medical attention after a flight.

A Dancing With the Stars champion required medical attention at the airport after a scary in-flight situation.

On December 22, 2022, Hannah Brown was traveling with her boyfriend Adam Woolard when she suffered an asthma attack on the plane. She shared a photo of herself sitting on a stretcher at the airport.

“Caused a scene,” Brown captioned the photo on her Instagram Stories. She looked calm as she was treated by emergency workers. Wearing comfortable clothing, including a green sweatshirt, black pants and a pair of sneakers, Brown was alert when a paramedic spoke to her.

In a subsequent post on her Instagram Stories, Brown revealed that once she got some oxygen, she felt a lot better. She required no further medical attention and is doing well after what she says was a “quite scary” event.

Here’s what you need to know:

Brown said she had a “full blown attack” in flight

Brown admitted she used an inhaler regularly and wasn’t sure why she had a “full blown” asthma attack on the plane.

“Haven’t had one like this in years so it was pretty scary,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories. “I’ve had a cough for the past two weeks and have used my inhaler a fair bit but whatever the reason something has triggered a full blown attack! I got some oxygen and was able to get some air and I’m fine now… but it’s been a wild time,” she added.

Along with the caption above, Brown shared a photo of herself and Woolard sitting next to each other on the plane. It is not known if the photo is from the morning flight before her asthma attack or from a flight the couple took after their recovery. Both Brown and Woolard were all smiling in the photo, which seems like a good sign.

Brown has dealt with other medical issues

Aside from her nagging cough and need for an inhaler, Brown also shared that she’s dealing with a few other health issues related to her sleep patterns.

In November 2022, she took to her Instagram Stories to share.

“In the past few days, episodes of anxiety and narcolepsy (and horrific, haunting sleep paralysis) have been trying to win, but my boys have been helping to get me out and moving,” she wrote. This wasn’t the first time Brown had grappled with these issues, either.

In her memoirs “God bless this mess‘ Brown spoke of her struggles with sleep paralysis and narcolepsy. And in January 2022, she shared a little about her experience on her Instagram Stories.

“Are any of you experiencing sleep paralysis because I’ve already had another morning in my sleep paralysis state? It’s the weirdest thing, I’m thinking, ‘Hannah, open your eyes’ in my head while I’m sleeping; like ‘move your body,’ and I can’t,” she said at the time. according to People magazine.

“And then it felt like I woke up and worked a whole morning but I couldn’t move. It’s the strangest thing. So I’m still recovering from that,” she added.
