DWTS partners Daniel Durant and Britt Stewart are dating

Britt Stewart and Daniel Durant announced their relationship on February 14, 2023.

Dancing With the Stars professional dancer Britt Stewart and her season 31 partner actor Daniel Durant are officially dating, they announced on Instagram on Tuesday, February 14, 2023.

The couple both posted on Valentine’s Day to announce their relationship.

steward titled her post simply with a red heart emoji. The video, which was set to the Montell Fish song “Fall In Love With You,” showed the two dancing around and smiling together.

Durant’s post was a little more direct. He wrote“My Valentine” next to a photo of the two smiling at the camera.

In the comments on both posts, the couple received a lot of affection from the Dancing With the Stars family.

In Stewart’s post, Hayley Erbert, Peta Murgatroyd and Kaitlyn Bristowe all wished the couple congratulations on their relationship.

“Happy Valentine’s Day, lovebirds!” Pasha Pashkov wrote under Durant’s photo.

Season 31 contestant Wayne Brady commented: “I knew it!!!!” followed by several heart emojis and the word “Congratulations!”

On Stewart’s post, commented one fan that they “literally burst into tears” over the relationship announcement, while another offered thanks for the “Valentine’s Day gift we all needed.”

Durant and Stewart met while working together on season 31 of Dancing With the Stars. Durant is sweet, and Stewart quickly began learning American Sign Language to communicate directly with him. Fans quickly recognized the spark between the couple and asked them to start dating early in the season.

Fans have hoped the couple would get together

During the Dancing With the Stars season, some fans hoped the couple would take their relationship to the next level.

“I hate dwts showmances but I totally agree that Daniel and Britt are becoming a thing.” a comment reads read on a Reddit thread from November 2022. “You are so damn adorable. His teaching her ASL and her teaching him how to dance are total relationship goals. The way Britt stares at Daniel when he speaks during an interview.”

They added that they “Nikki [Bella] and Artem [Chigvintsev] Vibes.” Chigvintsev and Bella met while they were partners on “Dancing With the Stars,” and now they’re married with one child together. However, their romance didn’t begin during their time on the show, since Bella was at the time was engaged to John Cena.

The couple unofficially announced their relationship at a live show on February 11, 2023. A fan captured video of the moment, but it cut before anything was officially confirmed.

In the video, Durant signals, “Oh, I wanted to get back to the other question when you asked if anyone is dating.”

Durant’s interpreter, Gabriel Gomez’s voice, can be heard interpreting, but the video cuts out before Durant announces the relationship, with fans saying that’s what happened next.

So far, there has been no acknowledgment of their personal relationship other than telling their fans that they are close friends.

Dancing With the Stars is slated to return to Disney+ in fall 2023.
