Two “Dancing With the Stars” cast members are collaborating on a “new show,” and we can’t wait to find out what professional dancer Cheryl Burke and season 30 finalist Amanda Kloots are cooking up for their fans.

Here’s what we know so far:

Cheryl Burke said they did A New Series together

Details are rare so far, but in one Instagram postCheryl wrote that she and Amanda are “filming a new show for y’all.”

She continued:

I wish I could share everything right now, but unfortunately I can’t. Thank you to the lovely and inspirational @amandakloots for joining me on this project! I can’t wait to share more with you all soon…

In the comments, Amanda replied, “I loved chatting with you!” and Cheryl told her the same thing.

On her Instagram Stories, Cheryl shared a wider photo of the space pictured in her Instagram post with the caption, “Coming soon…” from her sunroom, so we’re wondering if Cheryl is starting her own talk show at home. It wouldn’t be a huge surprise if she was — Cheryl has been a prolific podcaster, though “Pretty messed up” had to take a break from the roles of her co-hosts Rene Elizondo and AJ McLean due to other work commitments.

Perhaps this means Cheryl has expanded her interviewing game into a visual medium. She has some experience filming from home. During Season 30, Cheryl and her partner Cody Rigsby became ill and had to dance out of their respective apartments “together”. On an episode of Judge Carrie Ann Inaba’s podcast “Journey to Wellbeing” Cheryl explained how much she learned about filming a TV show during this time.

“If you had asked me before the season, I would have told you there was nothing new that I could possibly learn from [‘Dancing With the Stars’] … but getting COVID, as shitty as it was, it was the most amazing experience in the world because I learned about sound. I learned how to build cameras. I found out about the sets. I learned to stick lights on the wall. I learned it takes a bloody village and I felt a whole new appreciation for the crew, the amazing crew. Wow,” Cheryl said, adding, “I felt so sick with COVID, but I also felt so drained that I was doing this on my own with everyone’s help.”

Amanda Kloots has been busy since Dancing With the Stars wrapped

After Season 30 of Dancing With the Stars ended in November 2021 — with Amanda and partner Alan Bersten finishing fourth — Amanda had project after project for her.

Her memoir about the loss of her husband Nick Cordero, titled Live Your Life: My Story of Loving and Losing Nick Cordero, is being adapted into a feature film, and Amanda and her sister Anna Kloots are writing the screenplay.

In addition, Amanda produces and stars in a Christmas film for CBS called “Fit for Christmas,” in which Amanda plays Audrey, an “enthusiastic, Christmas-obsessed fitness instructor at a beloved, financially strapped community center in picturesque Mistletoe, Montana, who spent a year holiday romance begins with a charming, mysterious businessman, complicating his plans to transform the center into a more financially profitable resort,” the press release reads.

Amanda also took part in the live tour “Dancing With the Stars” on March 17 and danced alongside the pros for the final 10 days of the tour.

And on April 18, CBS renewed The Talk for its 13th season. amanda shared the good news on Instagram, writes: “We were picked up for season 13 today!!!! That was excellent news on a Monday morning! Thanks to all!”

Dancing With the Stars returns for Season 31 on Disney Plus in Fall 2022.
