Earlestown band The K’s unveil an intimate new single ahead of their UK tour

An INDIE band that has built a solid reputation has released a new single in anticipation of a nationwide tour.

Formed in 2017, Earlestown quartet The K’s have released “Hoping Maybe” as part of a bold five-single release schedule.

The singles schedule, which was released ahead of a major 12-date UK tour in March, will culminate with a digital and physical album release in November.

Of the slow-paced new track, vocalist Jamie Boyle said, “Of all the tracks I’ve written, ‘Hoping Maybe’ means the most to me.

“It adds another layer of intimacy to our live show, and it’s special in the way we connect with the audience every time we play it.”

After an endless year of touring, the quartet have taken up residence in a studio near their base in Earlestown to record the new releases.

The Ks have built a strong fan base and reputation over the years, headlining major concerts at venues such as the Ritz in Manchester and The Leadmill in Sheffield, as well as placing on the bill at Neighborhood Weekender, Isle of Wight and Reading and Leeds festivals .

Additionally, the Earlestown rockers have secured major support slots for acts such as James and Liam Gallagher, and amassed millions of listeners on streaming services.

While the K’s are currently unsigned, they’ve also caught the attention of one of the biggest music agencies in the world.

The band signed in 2021 with Solo Music Agency, a London-based advertising agency that represents touring artists and has partnerships with musical greats such as Blondie, James, Iggy Pop and Phil Collins.

After saying goodbye to their “best friend and brother” Jordan Holden, who was the band’s drummer, last year, the K’s can look forward to 2023.

“Hoping Maybe” is available now on all streaming services.
